"Lily" Chp 3

Oh sweet brotherly love!  I really enjoyed this chapter.  Saiga and Arthur are an adorable big brother little brother pair and my heart is preparing to break when Arthur finds out that Saiga has already claimed Lily.  Arthur is so cute and I want him to win Lily's heart, but I know it must be Saiga and both Lily and Saiga must navigate the situation so as not to hurt Arthur too badly.


A health issue is brought up in this chapter that flashes back to what happened to Lily's mother.  I wonder how that is going to ultimately play out.  I hope it doesn't end in tragedy.  If that happened, I'd probably bawl my eyes out for days.

Magnolia Chapter 13

 

Hmm...I wonder what happened between Lily and Arthur in the hall...I guess we won't know until late December T_T.  Anyhow, here's "Magnolia" chapter 14.  Finally! Another day!  I wonder how many chapters this day is going to last...heheheh... well at least this isn't as bad as "Skip Beat."  Anyhow...Nagi's suffering continues and Ayato is being forced to grow up.  Now I'm suffering as I wait for chapter 14. It sounds like chapter 14 may actually have more than 23 pages (PLEASE!!!  We need a nice 50-pages  PLEASE!!!).  Onto the link!

My Thoughts on the the Chapter

I wonder if Ayato and Hugo are heading out to Magnolia forest where they first met.  That would be nice because there would be some pretty pages to edit :). I'd also love for them to have another heart to heart conversation without Hugo going all "honey badger" on poor Ayato.  Show some restraint Hugo!

I have a sneaking suspicion about Ayato's muscle and joint pain.  I wonder whether the process of Ayato becoming a girl.  Hahaha!  You girls remember those days to painful "bee stings".

"Lily" Chapter 2 and "Magnolia" Chapter 12 Double Release

Because "Magnolia" chapter 12 is so short, I decided to release it along with Lily chapter 2.  This chapter of "Magnolia" appears to be the end of the "prologue", which hopefully means we can get into the meat of the story with the next chapter (though, it's not like things haven't been meaty enough).  "Lily" chapter 2 is a recap of "Magnolia" chapters 5 through chapter 9.  I guess that means volume 2 spans chapters 5 - 9.   Anyhow...here are the links:

Magnolia Chapter 7

Poor, poor Nagi...is it real or a spell?  Chapter 7 is short, but it's a real treat for Nagi x Ayato fans.  Personally, I just like Nagi.   This is my favorite cover image so far.  Ayato looks like he/she is being nuzzled by her big brother, but big brother is looking quite possessive and un-big brother-like.  Try getting through that Yugo!

My thoughts on the chapter --

The obvious question I already asked:  is Nagi is under a spell or are these Nagi's true feelings?  Personally, I think poor Nagi's under a spell, but I wonder whether that spell is anchored by an underlying attraction.  But if I think it's a spell, then what of Yugo?  Personally, I think Yugo is for real (mainly because he and Ayato bicker like a real couple).

I like the Lily hide-and-seek, though, I hope chapter 8 features nothing scandalous in the library.  Sigh...I feel like Sui is missing out on all of the fun!

The new character:  Yeeks, it's another Katakana mystery.  I went with "Hollier" because that was the suggestion I got.  A big part of me, though, wanted take some creative liberty and call her "Holly".  I don't know what to think of her.  Is she secretly evil or just some silly Ayato groupy?  She must be important to the story. though, since she's formally introduced to the readers.

And now we wait another month...augh!!!

Magnolia Chapter 6

It's another cruel chapter of "Magnolia"...this one is only 28 pages and as one of my proofreaders pointed out, the second page is a repeat. Boo! But it's a really good chapter and sets up for what I hope to be a thrilling volume 2.

My thoughts on the chapter:
Poor, poor, Nagi.  Nothing good can come of this for him.  Ayato is nutz, Yugo is relentless, and poor Nagi has his own heart to worry about.  But I think that's what makes this situation delicious.  What is poor Nagi going to do?  Ayato alone is more than a handful.  Oh, and then there's our other little flower, Lily.  I think after reading the companion Lily one-shot for the first volume of Magnolia, you all will understand why Lily is so down.  Lily...T_T...stay strong, girl!

Oh, a note about Saiga Orway -- "Orway" is my best guess on the spelling of his last name.  Other possibilities are Olway, Alway, Aulway...sigh...I hate Katakana...

I expect the first volumes of Aria series to release soon.  I will post links to purchase the books when they become available.

Our prayers have been answered!  It's a Lily themed Magnolia companion series of extra stories!  Yes! It's "Magnolia" from Lily's perspective!  I will release this opening chapter with Magnolia Chp 6!  Unfortunately, Itan is only published every three months and the next one-shot will be in Itan 5, which means the next chapter of "Lily" won't be out until the end of June.

Magnolia Chapter 4

I weep no more for the ending of "Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen" because another has come to walk in Johanne's shoes.  Bless you Naked Ape for giving us Yugo!

Magnolia Chapter 2

Update 01/04/2011:  Minor change to page 29 that doesn't impact the story.  The change was made to be consistent with the first "Lily" extra story.

Update 12/5/2010:  Minor change to the translation of page 8 that does impact the story.  Ayato's father is the only one who doesn't like Vincent.

Here's Magnolia chapter 2. Chapter 3 will be released on Monday at the latest so you won't have to suffer the cliff-hanger for long.

Starting at chapter 3, Magnolia will become a joint project with Hyper Parfait and Pika Ichi will become an Omari's Sister only project.  The highly stoopid one-shot "Hidaka Muffler" will be released with Magnolia chapter 3.  After that comes the final chapter of "Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen" along with some extras from Volume 3 and then Pika Ichi!
